How many clients do you take a month?
Our clients deserve a doula team who are not overbooked or burned out. We limit our client load to 2 births a month. We come to you well rested, dedicated, and ready for your birth.
How many visits are included with the birth doula package?
Our care includes 4 prenatal visits + drop in's as needed. We are ready and on hard call for you from 36 weeks until you have your baby.
What areas do you serve ?
Areas of service include Portland, Beaverton, Gresham, Hillsboro, West Linn, Lake Oswego, Happy Valley, Clackamas, Gladstone, Milwaukie, Oregon City, Tigard, Tualatin, Troutdale, Wood Village, Sherwood, Wilsonville, Corbett, Cornelius, Fairview, Forest Grove, and Vancouver, Washington.

What is your refund policy?
After our consultation call, we’ll provide you with an opportunity to read and consider our full contract before you commit to retaining our services. Our refund policy includes clear information on both parties’ (Soul Sister Doula Services and the client) responsibilities to each other. For any questions or to see a standard contract prior to discussion, please email us.
Do you carry liability insurance for Doulas?
Yes
Do you work with Carrot insurance?
Yes, we do!
Do you accept Medicaid?
At this time, we limit our client load to 2 births per month, so we cannot accept Medicaid. However, we do have referrals for doulas and birth workers who do accept Medicaid. Please reach out to us and we are happy to refer you!
What COVID or flu precautions do you take when working with clients?
Our community’s health is incredibly important to us, and we take protecting your health seriously. We follow WHO and CDC guidelines for COVID and cold and flu seasons, and we enjoy working with people who are equally respectful of making our time together as safe as possible for all parties. If you have special requirements, please let us know how we can accommodate you and make you feel comfortable.
